Plot
Collects Constantine: Hellblazer - City of Demons (2010 DC/Vertigo) #1-5 and material form Vertigo Winter's Edge (1998-2000) #3. Written by SI SPENCER. Art and cover by SEAN MURPHY. When John Constantine is run over by a truck, it takes a little while for England's nicotine-fueled magus to realize that he's perched between life and death. After a few weeks of hospital rehab, Constantine finds the London streets very different from when he left them behind as a series of occult murders and mutilations demands his attention. The common denominator points back to the ER where Constantine was admitted. Also included: "Another Bloody Christmas," a tale by Dave Gibbons originally presented in VERTIGO WINTER'S EDGE #3

La historia de Spencer maneja un ritmo que se alenta conforme se acerca al climax, pero tiene el suficiente tono oscuro, y una gran conclusion, sobra decir que el arte de Murphy, como siempre, deslumbra por su nivel de detalle, especialmente para los fondos. City of Demons es una de las historias mas graficas que se han hecho de Hellblazer, y por su parte, el cuento navideño de Gibbons, a pesar de ser bastante sencillo, esta muy bien escrito, y se aprecia el formato de "historia ilustrada" en vez del de novela grafica, me pregunto si alguna vez llego a haber un libro cien por cierto textual sobre Constantine.
