Plot

A classic Jack Kirby Superman story (from SUPERMAN'S PAL JIMMY OLSEN) is reinterpreted in today's continuity, written by Randy and Jean-Marc Lofficier (BATMAN: NOSFERATU) with art by Cable's J.O. Ladronn and Keith Aiken, with a stunning painted cover by Steve Rude (Hulk vs. Superman)! In Part 1 of the 2-part "Transilvane," the Man of Steel accompanies mad scientist Dabney Donovan to a manmade planet that's an experiment gone totally awry! Zombies, vampires and other ghoulish creatures call the strange world of Transilvane "home," but they've got plans to branch out...to Earth! Can a weakened Superman, and deranged doc Donovan, put things aright?
