Chaos Effect readers know that at one critical junction of the story, Magnus disappears through a time portal! These are his adventures in 1994 before he attempts to return to his own future era. Thrust into our present, Magnus is advised by Timewalker on how to survive as a "fish out of water." Magnus explores New York, where he engages bikers, cabbies and Harada's Eggbreakers in battle. Harada learns that Magnus is in New York, and decides to capture him to learn the secrets of the future. At the same time, Magnus decides to explore his own past, as he begins a search for his parents. But if Magnus makes one wrong move, he may change -- or destroy -- the entire future history of the Valiant Universe!
