Plot

Bugs and beasts prove more than the Wolfriders of Ember's little tribe care to deal with, and so the band sets out once again, full of disappointment, to find a safe Holt.

Disappointment is all they are full of, however, as days follow days without any sign of game. The grumbling of empty bellies gives way to complaints of a louder sort until the elves notice a strange thing - the wolves seem to be fatter and sassier than ever!

Ultimately, the answer shows itself in a very small way and the Wolfriders, for a time at least, become the Mousehunters...
