Plot

Egg has been waiting for Tyldak and Kahvi; He tells a tale of the fate of Blue Mountain, and even allows Kahvi to see herself from within his intricately woven egg; He reveals that he was able to commune with Timmain inside the egg of Blue Mountain, while his physical form slept and remained under the subversion of Winnowill; Egg allows Kahvi to stare into his egg, as if it were a crystal ball used to foresee all events; She begins to remember a time when she challenged her father Two-Spear for the right to lead the Gobacks.
