Una obra maestra tanto en guión como en dibujo. La dupla Busiek y Ross se junta para contar una historia sobre cómo las personas de a pie ven el universo Marvel en todo su esplendor, en ojos de un fotógrafo llamado Phil Sheldon, el cual vive toda la explosión del mundo superheroico, contándose desde el comienzo de todo (edad de oro) hasta la edad de plata de este universo pintoresco. Una delicia si eres fan de los personajes de la Casa de las Ideas, pues sin duda alguna, la historia brilla por su calidad, además de una excelente narrativa y forma de contarse mediante un dibujo impecable de la mano del gran Alex Ross.

Probablemente la edición definitiva de MARVELS: la obra a gran tamaño para disfrutar del arte de Ross, anotaciones, protestas de series limitadas, artículos, el guión original, bocetos, comentarios de los autores de TPB anteriores, ilustraciones de Ross (¡Esa recreación de la portada del Amazing Fantasy #15!), y de otros artistas como Rivera, Cho, Dell'Otto, Acuña...
