La mejor etapa de Excalibur. Alan Davis, que antes había dibujado la serie, se lanzó aquí a escribir también los guiones y durante un poco más de un año nos dio un tebeo plagado de personajes entrañables y aventura sin fin. Alan Davis hizo dos cosas con esta colección: 1- atar cabos sueltos que se habían ido olvidando en sus 41 números anteriores y 2- Desarrollar las personalidades y relaciones de los miembros del grupo. El tomo se completa con otras historias (un par de números de relleno, un especial, una historia corta de rondador...) que no están a la altura. La magia de estos tebeos es que sientes a sus protagonistas como personas reales, con sus inseguridades y miedos y con una historia que vivir. Todo de forma sencilla y divertida. Este es el tomo en inglés de la #EPICCOLLECTION dedicada a #Excalibur y recopila los #42-58 de la serie junto con el especial EXCALIBUR XX CROSSING (que no vale mucho la pena) y material de MARVEL COMICS PRESENTS #110 (que tampoco es muy allá).
