Aware of his brother Seishiro's plan to expand Goryokaku-Tei across the country using dirty methods, Kitakata heads to Hokkaido to put an end to his and everyone else's shady ambitions. While there, Kitakata sets up a shop of his own in Otaru for Miyata, whose dinner party was suddenly cancelled by Tokuta to make way for another...!!
