Una familia de aves antropomorficas, que mantiene a uno de sus hijo en el granero, al cuál su padre golpea brutalmente. En otro lugar, unos seres con cabello de fuego se preparan para una gala, a la cual la hija no puede asistir, y se quiere rebelar. Unos tipos llegan a la casa en busca del niño, del sacrificador... se lo llevan porque es el tributo que debe pagar cada familia. Una historia cruda, que nos deja muy intrigados y con un dibujo y colores impresionantes.
