Plot
Mark Waid and Bryan Hitch reunite to tell a tale centered on their favorite superhero. Superman learns Lex Luthor is dying, and he wants the Man of Steel to help him find the cure for whatever is causing his rapid decline. While the world wants to say good riddance to Luthor, Superman will go to the ends of the universe, through different dimensions, and across time to save his foe. But just why does he want to save the person who’s spent his life trying to destroy him? And will he even be able to find the solution?

Mark Waid lleva una temporada larga en estado de gracia presentando historias planificadas, personajes creíbles, consecuentes con su historia y tramas que se desarrollan con fluidez y que enganchan al lector. Que Nowlan entinte a Hitch, que aquí está muy acertado, es una gozada. Así que solo espero que la segunda y tercera partes salgan pronto. Por favor. 01/06/25 Gozada de relectura. Primer número espectacular, definiendo a Superman y Lex como nunca y mostrando una trama interesantísima. Superman se lleva a Lex a Kandor y a la zona fantasma para intentar curar su enfermedad mortal. No esperéis agradecimiento por parte de Lex, al menos por intentarlo.

Un entretenido viaje por los aspectos clásicos de la mitología de Superman. Muy buenos diálogos entre Clark y Lex, dejando claro que el autor conoce la psicología de los personajes y nadie hace nada que no se espere que haga. El formato se me hizo raro pero no es molesto. Quizás innecesario pero no molesto.
