Que gran episodio! Todos los planes de Orchis se conjugan para atacar durante la Hellfire Gala. Con el chantaje de que tenían las medicinas manipuladas y los portales hackeados, con los Avengers dejando antes la Gala para acudir a una emergencia, la presentación del nuevo equipo de X-Men es literalmente aniquilado por Nimrod. Usando a Xavier para obligar a todos los mutantes a cruzar los portales hacia la muerte, excepto unos pocos que usando el protocolo ante ataques psíquicos, logran huir (entre ellos Emma Frost y Kate Pryde). Antes también habían eliminado a Iceman y a Jean Grey, quien logra convencer a Firestar de infiltrarse en Orchis antes de morir.
