Plot
The true origin of Hawkeye! Everybody knows that young Clint Barton joined a traveling carnival, where the Swordsman took him under his wing. But why did the legendary blade-wielder teach Clint archery? That's where Trick Shot comes in - the one man Hawkeye hoped he would never see again! But now he's back, and he's issued a death challenge to his one-time protégé! Meanwhile, Hawkeye gets hired by Silver Sable and goes up against some of the Marvel Universe's deadliest villains: the Red Skull, Doctor Octopus, the Abomination and…the Orb?! No es que el tomo no me haya entretenido, lo que pasa es que solo la mitad del tomo es de Hawkeye. Aquí tenemos los primeros 21 números de Solo Avengers y mientras en los tomos de Moon Knight o Black Widow, por ejemplo, cuando aparecían números de series contenedoras solo se incluían las historias del héroe titular, en este caso los números están completos, con lo que cada 12-14 páginas de Hawkeye, te toca leerte 12-14 de cualquier personaje al azar, desde Starfox hasta Doctor Druid... Por otro lado, no hay evolución del personaje, puesto que lo más importante de esta época como es su separación de Mockingbird se cuenta fuera de plano (en otra colección, obviamente) con lo que es bastante curioso que en unos números dedicados a un personaje en solitario, se acaben contando solo historias "de complemento" en lugar de aprovechar para contar su historia más en profundidad.
